| Match Report | 10/11/20 Always positive and up for the next challenge, this week it was second in the table Staveley 1’s. After a Twig warm up session we were tuned in and ready to go. It was an open game to begin with and we played some of our best passing hockey for a while and we actually had the first shot on goal. Staveley are always quick and slick on the ball and although they pressurised our D the defence were solid, with great covering back and strong clearances from Gemma. We kept a clean sheet for 30 mins this week and still had a chance to even things up with Steph having shots on goal. 1-0 at half time was a creditable scoreline. |
