| Match Report | 3rds 2 - 4ths 0 This was an opportunity to lengthen this half of the season and see these squads together. An even 1st half saw Gemma as the busiest gk as we pushed forward and regularly lost shape. Charlotte linked well with their attack to cause us trouble and Ella was unlucky not to connect at a pc to put us ahead. Chances came and went at both ends leaving the half time score at 0-0. In the 2nd half we shaped better and Ella was rewarded with a goal after a strong solo run and shot. Hannah caught the eye in the second half causing us trouble down our left and Gill excelled in goal. Jan made it 2 following several shots well defended and we held out quite comfortably. The 4ths won far more pc's than our 1, in a closely fought match. Many thanks to Biff and Maggie for turning out to umpire. In a game where the younger players took the eye, MOM votes were not surprising, with Hannah winning the 4ths. Ours were : Me 1 (obviously the young and rather lame sympathy vote!) Gemma and Jules also 1 each. Kerry 2, and in the absence of Rachel, Ella 6 (with even Dad having to vote for her!) At the current time Liverpool lead the premiership, so I'm a very happy bunny.
